This document will show you how to install the software and assemble the SmartView. A list of commands is also included to help you get the most out of your SmartView's many features. CAUTION: Do not connect the SmartView to your computer before installing the Graduate Setup software.

3. Installing Graduate Setup Software Insert the installation CD into the CD-ROM drive and follow the instructions. If the installation procedure does not begin automatically, use Windows Explorer to find on your CD a file called Setup.exe. Double click this file to launch installation.

Click Next to continue installation at the default location. If you wish to select a different installation location, click Change. Select the Shortcut folder of your choice and click Next.

Review your installation information. If the information appears valid, click Next. If you need to make modifications, click Back and return to previous windows to make changes. A window will inform you that the necessary files have been installed. Press OK.

Select Yes, always search online or Yes, search online this time only. Note that an internet connection is required. Your computer will look for the appropriate drivers on the internet.

This window will appear to inform you that the hardware drivers have been successfully installed on your computer. You may now launch your SmartView Graduate by double-clicking the desktop icon.

4. Using the SmartView Graduate Adjust the camera angle to capture on your computer screen what you want to see. Position the lens in front of the camera to view material placed on the Base plate. The following commands can be used to modify or save the resulting image.
