5.2 Sort plans
Sort plan defines in which box shipments are sorted. Sort plans are created and maintained in the
administration tool in the web interface of Mailroom Assistant. Sort plans are listed in the view,
which is opened by clicking the Sorting plan ‐button.
Only sort plans, which fit to the used sorting frame are displayed in the sort plan list.
There is also a fixed sort plan "Registration" which does not assist in sorting but only registers the
shipments. With Registrar OCR this is typically the only option.
The wanted sort plan is selected by clicking it. Then the name of the selected plan is indicated next
to the Sorting plan ‐button.
