5. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

5.1. Emptying the drip tray

When the drip tray (4) is full, the red float (5) will become visible through the grill,
showing that the tray should be emptied and cleaned.
Proceed as indicated below:
1. Remove the tray taking it from the handle located on its bottom and pull it out.
Along with the tray, grounds collector (9) will be taken out as well).
2. Remove grounds collector. Empty the drip tray and the collector and wash them
under the tap.
3. Place ground collector on the drip tray again. Make sure it is fitted correctly.
4. Insert the drip tray into the coffee maker. Make sure it is fitted correctly.
5. Plug the coffee maker to the mains again.

5.2. Emptying coffee grounds collector

When the coffee grounds collector is full, indicator light of the icon
up showing that grounds collector should be emptied and cleaned.
Proceed as indicated below:
1. Remove the tray (4) taking it from the handle located at its
bottom and pull it out. Along with the tray, grounds collector (10)
will be taken out as well.

5.3. Cleaning the brewing unit

To keep the right function of your coffee maker for a long time, it is very important that brewing unit is
cleaned frequently.
Important: do not wash the brewing unit in the dishwasher
Proceed as indicated below:
1. Touch the icon
to switch the coffee maker off.
2. Unplug the coffee maker from the mains to prevent from electric and mechani-
cal hazards and let it cool down!
3. Remove the water tank (6). Take it from the handle (7) and pull it out..
4. Open the door (8) of the compartment where the brewing unit (9) is loca-
ted.
5. Turn the wheel of the brewing unit counter clockwise to unlock it.
6. Take the brewing unit out.
7. Hold the brewing unit over a sink and wash it using water from the
tap.
