9.5 Measuring resistance
Measure resistance up to 60 MΩ.
NOTICE
Voltage-carrying components can damage the multimeter
● Disconnect components from power supply
● Discharge components before measuring/testing
Important:
Keep the measuring points and the test probes clean free from dirt, oil, solder
and other impurities to ensure accurate results.
1. Disconnect the component you want to measure from the power supply and
completely discharge it.
2. Press the power button to switch the multimeter on.
3. (If not using SMART mode) Repeatedly press the button FUNC until the display
shows "MΩ".

The display shows "AUTO" to indicate that auto-range selection is activated.
4. Connect the red test lead to the measurement socket INPUT.
5. Connect the black test lead to the measurement socket COM.
6. Connect the test probes to each other to check for continuity.

The display should show 0 – 0.5 Ω (inherent resistance of the test leads).
