6. Remove the test probes from the measured object.

9.4 Measuring AC voltage

Measure AC voltage up to 600 V/AC.
1. Press the power button to switch the multimeter on.
2. (If not using SMART mode) Repeatedly press the button FUNC until "AC"
shows in front of the reading.

The display shows "AUTO" to indicate that auto-range selection is activated.
3. Connect the red test lead to the measurement socket INPUT.
4. Connect the black test lead to the measurement socket COM.
5. Connect the two test probes in parallel to the object that you want to measure.

The display shows the measured value.

The display shows "OL" if the measured value exceeds the max. permiss-
ible value.
6. Remove the test probes from the measured object.
