Mute On
While on an active call:

Phone - MUTE.
Mute Off
While the microphone is muted, you can hear incoming audio, but a caller
cannot hear you speak. You must turn "Mute" off to speak.
Press n until you see "Mute" (if it is not already displayed). Press
under "Mute." The display changes from Phone - MUTE to Phone - In
Use, indicating that the microphone is on.
Placing Worldwide
Placing international calls has never been easier. The i2000plus phone and
Nextel Worldwide Service include access to multiple networks so you can get
connected and stay connected.
Use "Plus Dialing" when making calls from one country to another, or within a
foreign country. You can also make international calls from your stored list (see
"Storing Names and Numbers" on page 27) using Scroll, Name Search, Speed
Dial, or Turbo Dial provided you have stored the number with Plus Dialing. To
place an international call using the "Plus Dialing" feature, see the following
section.

Plus Dialing

This feature enables you to quickly place an international call without entering
the local international access code. Plus dialing can be used for
country-to-country calls as well as local or long distance calls in a foreign
country.
Press and hold

"+."
NOTE: The network translates the "+" into the appropriate
international access code needed to place the call.
Enter the country code, city code, and phone number.
