Single-hand tourniquet
Please read these instructions for use carefully

and completely before use, and observe the care
instructions.
The tourniquet is used for blood staunching for intravenous punctu-
ring of vessels for the purpose of blood sampling or the insertion of
intravenous access. In addition, the tourniquet can also be used in
an emergency to stop acute bleeding. Observance of all the informa-
tion in these operating instructions and the relevant regulations and
guidelines is part of the intended use. Any other use is not as inten-
ded, and the manufacturer is not liable for any resulting damage!
This product may only be used by authorized specialist personnel!
Intended patient group: Adults, children, infants, and babies.
Safety instructions
• Keep the tourniquet out of reach of non-medically qualified
persons.
• Check the complete tourniquet before use to ensure that it is
not defective.
• Do not use the product near or directly on the neck. Such use
is associated with a fatal risk of strangulation and must be
avoided at all costs.

• Do not position the closure directly on a pacemaker and
never use it in an MRI.
• Before using the device for the first time, and after each use,
it should be cleaned to prevent germ colonization or germ
transmission. In case of contamination with secretions, other
body fluids, or toxic substances, please follow the internal
hygiene regulations and, in case of doubt, dispose of as
special waste.
• Automatic cleaning or disinfection is not possible. Please
follow the cleaning and disinfection instructions.
• Immediately after carrying out the medical treatment,
please open the cap as quickly as possible by pressing the
multifunction clip. Avoid uncontrolled opening.
• Dispose of the tourniquet if there is visible wear on the
band/closure.
Handling
• Position the tourniquet at the desired point on the limb.
The "click" when closing the multifunction clip signifies a
secure connection. Adjust the desired tourniquet pressure by
tightening the opposite end of the strap. Avoid pinching or
squeezing the skin. To release the tourniquet immediately,
press the top release button on the multifunction clip.
Cleaning and disinfection
Please follow your internal hygiene procedures to reduce the risk
of cross-contamination. After application to a patient's skin, the
tourniquet should be cleaned and disinfected with a 70% alcohol
solution (e.g., with soaked wipes). Observe the exposure times of
the product used.
Disposal
The product must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
Storage and transport
The tourniquet must be stored and transported in such a way that it
is protected from dust, moisture, and contamination.
Maintenance and service
The end of product life is normally determined by wear and damage
from use. Damaged parts must be replaced! For possible repairs,
please contact your dealer.
Warranty
If the product is handled correctly and our instructions for use are
observed, the statutory warranty of two years commencing on the
date of sale applies.
