• Work carefully and pay attention to what you are doing.
• Do not use the unit if you are tired or under the influence of
medicine or alcohol.
• Do not attempt to work with the unit too far away from your
body. Operate the unit only on stable surfaces. Wear sturdy
footwear and always maintain a well balanced stance.
• Instruct all people to leave the operating area. Do not use
the unit near people who are not wearing protective clothing.
• Observe the maintenance notices in this instruction man-
ual.
AS S EMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
High pressure hose
Remove and dispose of the water plug (see fig. B).
Connect the high-pressure hose by carefully setting the O-
ring connection on the high-pressure outlet and tightening the
nut manually (see fig. C).

Connecting the water hose
Let water Dow through the garden hose (fig. D-15, not in-
cluded in delivery) before connecting it in order to rinse out
any foreign particles. Connect the garden hose to the garden
hose connector on the pressure washer (see fig. D).

Power supply

The pressure washer is factory, equipped with an electrical
cord. This cord should only be connected to an electrical out-
let installed in accordance with local safety regulations.
The power supply must be 120 V. 60 Hz and a minimum 15 A
circuit.

• Use only detergents intended for use in pressure washers
with this unit. Using other detergents or chemicals can nega-
tively affect the safety of the unit.
• To ensure safe operation of the unit, only use original spare
parts from the manufacturer or spare parts recommended by
KNOVA.
• For safety reasons, high pressure hoses, valves and cou-
plings must be used with this unit. Only use such hoses,
valves and couplings that are recommended by KNOVA.
Attach the hose to the water supply before turning on the
unit.
WARNING NOTICE:
Inspect the electrical cable before use. Do not use the unit, if
the electrical cable is damaged.
Keep ah connections dry and at a safe distance from the
ground.
Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
If replacement of the plug or cord needed, use only identi-
cal replacement parts. Contact customer service for proper
replacement parts.
We do not recommend using extension leads.
Should it be absolutely necessary lo use an extension lead,
only use leads with 12 AWG and longer than 25' to prevent
excessive voltage loss. Use only extension cords intended for
outdoor use.

Starting the pressure washer
Ensure that the unit is connected to an open water supply.
Ensure that the unit is connected lo a power supply.

Release the safety lock on the spray gun if it is still locked.
(see fig. E). Do not turn the unit's power supply on yet.
To allow air trapped in the hose lo escape, press and hold
the trigger until a constant amount & water flows through the
hose.
