FOR YOUR SAFETY

Please read the following safety notes carefully before using
your pressure washer.

Safety precautions

• Model KN 9818 includes a pressure switch that automatical-
ly turns off the motor once the set pressure has been reached.
When the water gun is closed, the pressure increases directly
to almost the limit of 2000 PSI, causing the bypass to open
automatically and the pressure to decrease again rapidly.
WARNING NOTICES:
Please read the following notes before using the unit:
• Do not continue to use the unit if the electrical cable or other
important parts, such as safety mechanism, the high pressure
hose or the spray gun, are damaged.
• High pressure jets can be dangerous if used improperly.
Never aim the jet spray at people, live electrical devices or
the unit it self.
• Never aim the jet spray at yourself or others, for example to
clean clothing or shoes.
• Keep the presser washer at a safe distance from flammable
materials, combustible smoke and dust.

• There is a risk of kickback and sudden torque load against
the jet spray when the spray gun is opened. Use both hands
when operating the pressure washer to ensure that you are
always in complete control of the spray wand.
• Leave the hose connected to the machine and the spray gun
while the unit is pressurised. It is dangerous to detach the
hose while the unit is pressurised.
• This unit ¡5 not intended to be used by people (including
children) with restricted physical, sensory or mental skills or
who lack experience or knowledge, except if they are super-
vised by a person responsible for their safety or have received
instructions on how to use the unit.
Caution!
• You should know how to turn off and depressurise the unit
as fast as possible. Familiarise yourself with the individual
switches.
• Never allow the machine to operate with the spray gun
closed for longer than two minutes. After two minutes the
temperature of the circulating water rises quickly and can
damage the pump seals.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the unit.
• The unit should be used with extreme care near children to
reduce the risk of injury.
