discrete input status can be acquired from XMC100 controller.

System Firmware Version Identification
Pressing the "VERSION" key will display the software version dates of the system
components. The current firmware version as of the release of this manual revision is
Ver. 1.17. Allow several seconds for each system component to upload it's information
to the control head, especially if the system contains several receiver channels.
