MODEL IDENTIFICATION
The XAV-AX100 and XAV-AX100C2 can not be identifi ed by the
model name printed on the front panel top.
Be sure to refer to the model number label affi xed to the bottom
of the main unit.

When identifying the destination of the XAV-AX100 or XAV-
AX100C2, refer to the shape, model name, Part No., serial number,
etc. of the model number label affi xed to the bottom of the main
unit.

XAV-AX100 (IND, IND3)
Check the Serial No. to distinguish IND and IND3.

NOTE FOR CABLE FOR AUTOMOBILE (RC-SR1) OF
IND MODEL
The CABLE FOR AUTOMOBILE (RC-SR1) (Cable for steer-
ing wheel remote input) has been added to AX100: IND model in
the midway of production and the operating instruction has been
changed accordingly.
Check the Serial No. about whether CABLE FOR AUTOMOBILE
(RC-SR1) is supplied or not.
Serial No. 7104600 or smaller:
CABLE FOR AUTOMOBILE (RC-SR1) is not supplied
Serial No. 7104601 or larger:
CABLE FOR AUTOMOBILE (RC-SR1) is supplied

DESTINATION SETTING METHOD
(Except AX100: IND3 model)
When the MAIN board or U310 on the MAIN board is replaced,
the destination setting is necessary.
Note 1: Remote commander is necessary.
It is necessary to operate by the remote commander, even in case of
models that have not been supplied the remote commander.
(Refer to "7. ELECTRICAL PARTS LIST" on page 61 about the
remote commander)
Note 2: When discriminating the destination, refer to "MODEL IDENTI-
FICATION" on the left.
Note 3: It is not necessary to perform the destination setting work in
AX100: IND3 model.
1. Destination Setting
Set destination according to the procedure below.
1-1. Setting the Destination Code
1. Turn the power on this unit.
2. Press the [HOME] button on the main unit.
3. In the state of source off (Home screen is displayed), enter the
destination setting mode by pressing the buttons on the remote
commander in order of the [4] t [5] t [6] (press only the [6]
button for two seconds).

4. The following screen is displayed and the destination setting
mode becomes effective.
Note: Refer to the following "1-2. Entering the Destination Code" for op-
eration method.

5. The resetting operation is executed by pressing the reset button
after the setting ends, and the unit returns to the normal condi-
tion.
