    Programming Memory Slots The Berchtold PodoQ features the option to save preferred working settings (i.e: Burr Direction, Vacuum Strength & Burr Speed) and to access them at the touch of a button. Follow the steps below to programme the three Memory Slots available: 1.

  • Page 9 Dismantling the Handpiece Summary of Parts A unique feature of the Berchtold handpiece is it’s ability to be completely dismantled, cleaned, and re-built. To ensure optimal performance of your Berchtold handpieces we suggest that this be performed every 2-3 weeks.

  • Page 13 Burr Clutch Service A unique feature of the Berchtold handpiece is it’s ability to be completely dismantled, cleaned, and re-built. To ensure optimal performance of your Berchtold handpieces we suggest that this be performed every 2-3 weeks. Step 1 Remove any burr or mandrel that may be in the Handpiece.

Ensure to do this step over a benchtop or flat surface as the three Roller Bearings in the Burr Clutch Assembly will fall out upon removal.
