TAMD103A RC Genset Engine
TAMD103A RC is an in-line, direct injection, 6-cylinder, 4-stroke marine diesel engine. It has a turbocharger and
is equipped with radiator cooling.
The engine has a charge air cooler. The charge air cooler lowers the temperature of the engine's induction air,
after compression in the turbocharger. This permits high power ratings at the same time as combustion and ex-
haust temperatures can be maintained at a suitable level.
The exhaust manifold and turbocharger are fresh water cooled to reduce heat radiation to the engine room.
