2 GENERAL
Emergencies:
Immediately exercise first aid or seek assistance.
Remove mains plug (E-Version) or key-operated main switch (B-Version).
After any incidents, do not reactivate the machine until manufacturer has inspected the machine.

3 TECHNICAL IMPROVEMENTS

The machine is designed in line with current technology and in conformity with recognised safety regulations. It has undergone inspection
of electrical systems and conforms with European safety standards (CE). It has various circuit breakers that act as protection systems.
Hazards can nevertheless arise, chiefly through improper use or infringements of safety regulations and instructions set out in the operating
manual. We reserve the right at any time to make technical modifications to the machine in addition to consumables and accessories. For
this reason, discrepancies may exist between certain details about the machine and what is set down in the operating manual.

4 PROPER USE

This machine is designed for industrial floor cleaning of hard floor coverings in interior areas in adherence this operating manual.
Only use consumables and accessories recommended by the manufacturer. Only original brushes and pad plates may be used.
Safety regulations relating to operation and maintenance are set out in the relevant chapters, and adherence to these regulations is mandatory.
4.1 Improper use
It is forbidden to operate the machine if when it is technically unsound or if the following safety regulations and hazards information are disregarded.
Protective guards must not be dismantled nor bypassed.
Conversions and modifications to the product are not permitted without the manufacturer's authorisation.
Where damage occurs resulting from disregarding this operating manual as well as improper treatment or using the machine other than
for its intended purpose, then claims under the guarantee will be void. No liability will be accepted for consequential damage.
The machine must not be used in the open air in wet conditions or stored under such conditions.
The machine must not be used for the following purposes because of the associated hazards:
As a towing vehicle, means of transport, or toy.
For cleaning textile floor coverings (the exception to this is single-disc machines designed for this purpose with the proper accessories).
4.2 Types of dust and liquids that are potentially harmful to health
The machine must not be used for the following purposes because of the associated hazards:
For absorption or removal of dust that is harmful to health and combustible materials.
For vacuum cleaning of flammable, toxic, corrosive, irritating, radioactive materials or materials harmful to health.
For cleaning of floors near flammable or explosive substances.
4.3 Limiting values
The maximum 2% rise/incline limit for transportation and during operation must not be overstepped. After use, the machine must be
secured against rolling away.
Air humidity during operation must be between 30-95%.
Vibration level is below 2.5 m/s2
Noise emission is below 74 dB A.
5 Commissioning
5.1 Before commissioning
Before commissioning / Initial commissioning
Delivery, or instructions on safety regulations, handling and maintenance, in addition to initial commissioning, are normally undertaken
by an approved expert. If this is not the case, the operating company is responsible for instructing the operator.
Items of jewellery, such as rings and chains, must be removed.
With mains-operated models, check the mains cable regularly for damage, such as splitting or ageing; if damage is detected, have the
mains cable replaced by an expert before further use.
Replace the mains cable only according to the type/dimensions specified in the instructions for use (see under Point 6).
All panels and covers must be in their correct positions before commissioning.
5.2 During operation
When machine is stopped, the brush set must be switched off immediately to prevent any damage to floor coverings.
Attach brushes, pads and other accessories only as directed by the illustrated operating manual.
Machine and parts in motion
Travelling motion and area in vicinity of rotating brushes/pads pose a risk of injury.
Do not grasp brush/pads or wheels with your hands or place your feet in this zone.
Do allow machine to come into contact with items of clothing, jewellery or hair.
