• When you turn the engine on and off,
you may hear clicking sounds as the
system goes through a self-test. This
is a normal sound for the Automated
Manual Transmission (AMT).
• During the first 1,500 km (1,000 miles),
you may feel that the vehicle may not
be smooth when accelerating at low
speed. During this break-in period, the
shift quality and performance of your
new vehicle is continuously optimized.

Information
- Creeping function
The Creeping function helps the vehicle
to start smoothly. If you take your foot
off the brake pedal when the shift lever
is either in R (Reverse), D (Drive) or M
(Manual) position, the vehicle will start
slowly without depressing the accelerator
pedal. To disable the function, depress the
brake pedal or pull up the parking brake
lever.
The creeping function will not operate
when:
• The parking brake lever is engaged
with the shift lever in R (Reverse), D
(Drive) or M (Manual) position
Automated Manual Transmission
(AMT) instruction label
Read and follow the instruction label
attached on the driver side's sunvisor
before driving the vehicle.
