2-11. CAM GEAR ASSY

1 Install the stylus protective cover.
Note 1: When there is not stylus protective cover, refer to "CLEANING
THE STYLUS AND REPLACING THE STYLUS" on page 8,
remove the stylus.
2 Install the turn table (platter) and drive belt, connect the AC adaptor
and press the [ON/STANDBY] button to turn the power on.
3 Press the [START] button to rotate the turn table (platter).
4 Press the [STOP] button, check that the turn table (platter) stop
rotaitng completely, and torn arm returns to the tone arm rest
completely.
Note 2: Don't do the next work until the lift of the tone arm come down
and tone arm get on top of the tone arm rest completely.

5 Press the [ON/STANDBY] button to turn the power off, disconnect
the AC adaptor and remove the turn table (platter) and drive belt.
6 Remove the screw (PTPWH3
assy vertically while being careful not to move the lever of

7 In the state that cam gear assy is removed, take a photo of
lever position and recored them while being careful not to
move the lever.
