The Hi-Lite is a "plug & play" unit. Just plug the power
cord into a standard 120 volt grounded outlet and turn on
the power switch on the back of the unit. You can also
plug the unit into a switched outlet and control power
from a standard wall switch.
Do not use a wall dimmer switch (rheostat) to dim
the Hi-Lites. This will damage the power supply.
The Hi-Lite XL has a built-in IR dimmer for adjusting the
intensity of the light. Simply point the remote towards
the unit and adjust the brightness to your liking.
