Step 1
Install an appropriate and suitable level of base to lay your block wall.
Step 2
Plumb Formal Falls Basin and set in place. Determine which side will use plumbing
and plug the remaining side with fitting provided. Begin building the back wall.
Step 3
Thread the Pump Discharge Assembly provided in the kit on to the pump. Ensure all
PVC fittings have been primed and glued.
Step 4
Place the pre-filter sock into the basin chamber. Place the pump into the pre-filter
sock and close draw strings. Attach Discharge Assembly to outlet and tighten clamp.
Step 5
Continue building the block wall to the desired height. We recommend that the
overall height of the waterfall not exceed the width of the Formal Falls unit itself.
Placing the unit higher increases the likelihood of wind related water loss.
