- "Kaiser autoDrive" control program (on USB stick), for re-
mote controlled height adjustment of the RSP autoDrive
1.5 column via PC/laptop and for brightness control of the
LED lighting unit RB 570 AX (5652). In addition to direct
control, certain settings (height positions, brightness va-
lues) can be saved and retrieved when required.
2. Assembly / Preparatory work
The column can be mounted in the base of the floor stand
5615 or the wall mount 5614 as well as in the base 5610
(e.g. mounted on the floor stand 5618). Insert the column
(1) into the base (6) from the rear so that the two pins in the
base are inserted in the corresponding holes in the co-
lumn. Now insert the four fixing screws (24) with washers
into the holes provided for this purpose (Fig. C) and tighten
them using the supplied 6 mm Allen key (11). Finally, check
if the column is firmly attached to the base.
Now connect the column (1) and the cable remote control
(10) as well as a PC/laptop (if the control is to be carried
out via the "Kaiser autoDrive" program) to the control box
(8) using the appropriate cables. See connection diagram
(Fig. G).
Note: Even if the system is to be controlled exclusively via
the "Kaiser autoDrive" program, the cable remote control
(10) must always be connected, as it can be used to exe-
cute an emergency stop in the immediate proximity of the
column.
Check whether the mains voltage corresponds to the ope-
rating voltage indicated on the type plate of the control
box (8). Then - with the control box (8) still switched off -
connect it to the mains with the power cord.
If the 5652 lighting unit is also to be controlled via the
PC/laptop, connect one of the lights to the control box (8)
using the supplied RJ45 patch cable (14). To do this, insert
one plug into one of the connection sockets of a light and
the other plug into one of the connection sockets on the
control box (8). The plugs will engage audibly. Then
connect the light connected in this way with the second
light using the light connection cable supplied with the
lighting unit. See connection diagram (Fig. G).
The control box (8) and the power supply unit of the
lighting unit should be connected together to the mains via
the multiple socket outlet (39) included in the scope of de-
livery. The control box recognizes the lighting unit only
when it is switched on no later than two seconds after the
control box is switched on. By switching on both devices
with the switch on the multiple socket outlet (39) ensures
that this is the case.
If the system is to be controlled via the "Kaiser autoDrive"
program, now copy the program from the supplied USB
stick to your PC/laptop. Please observe the instructions in
the operating manual for the "Kaiser autoDrive" control
program.
Do not open the program yet. The copy stand and, if requi-
red, the lighting unit must be switched on first (see "3.
Start-up").
