To change the following settings, press the Options menu key and select Settings and press the Enter key.

Backlight control
Vibration control
Description
Selects whether to display application properties when downloading a
Java™ application or not.
User setting only: Backlight settings can be adjusted for each Handset
profile. Refer to Handset profile on page 58 for details.
Application control: Allows the backlight operation to be controlled
through the application. It continues to be controlled by the setting on the
phone unless it has been set through the application.
Selects which is applicable vibration settings, user setting or Application
setting.
