CHAPTER 4. Connecting the Ubigate iBG1003
PRI Port
The Ubigate iBG1003 has two PRI ports, depending on sub-models.
These ports provide two generic T1 or E1 trunk interfaces for voice.
These module provide
2 T1 ports, running at 1.544 Mbps and supporting 24 voice timeslots.
or
2 E1 ports, running at 2.048 Mbps and supporting 30 voice timeslots.
To connect a cable:
1.
Plug one end of the cable into an appropriate T1/E1 PRI port on the
target router.
2.
Plug the other end of the cable into the network device. Make sure that
the cable connectors are locked and secure in the ports.
