In General

The torch is an all-purpose tool. Use it as a cordless hot air soldering iron, as a
hot air torch and as flambé.
For safety reasons the torch is delivered without gas. To fill in the torch, please
take commercial pressurised butane can. Notice: Never screw the gas valve
on the underside of the device. Risk of injury!
Fill in the tank
Use only commercial pressured butane can for filling.
Shake the pressurized can a few times before filling the
torch.
1. Ensure that the torch is switched off.
2. Hold the torch on the bottom with one hand. The
filling valve is now on the top.
3. Attach the correct reducing piece on the valve and
press the can onto the valve. For better air bleeding from inside of the
tank, please pump some times.
4. It takes approx. 10 sec. to fill the tank completely. Wait some minutes be-
fore using the torch. According to the changing temperature and pressure
ratio the gas has to stabilise.
Ignition
If you intend to operate the torch with the soldering attachment, attach it on the
torch. Ensure that the trigger nozzle (1) is fixed and not tilted. If the nozzle is
tilted the ignition lead of the Piezo-ignition will damage or either torn off and
the device become unusable.
Before ignition, turn the gas volume control regulator (6) towards "+"direction.
This way, a reliable ignition is provided.
