Please note the following advices to avoid malfunctions, dam-
age and injuries:
This manual belongs to the product. It contains important notes on oper-
ating the unit. Please pass it on along with the unit if it is handed over to
a third party!
Do not leave packaging materials lying around; plastic bags may be-
come a deadly toy for small children.
Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use. During processing
keep the device out of reach of children or persons in need of supervision.
Use the torch in an adequate distance from flammable objects and liq-
uids.
Please familiarize yourself with the materials you intend to heat before
using the device.
Never fill in the device near unshielded flames.
Do not place the torch on a hot surface and ensure that the ambient air
temperature is not over 40°C.
Use only butane gas (gas for cigarette lighter).
Use the device in well ventilated rooms only or outside. Especially for
filling in with gas. Danger of burns or risk of injury! During soldering haz-
ardous fumes can occur.
Protect your eyes and body with appropriate clothing to avoid soldering
splash.
Ensure that gas supply is completely switched off and the flame goes out
before storing the device. Risk of burns!
Store the device not before cooled off to room temperature.
Keep during processing the torch and the tools in distance from body
parts or hair or any combustible objects.
Never cool down hot parts with water, they can warp and become unus-
able. Please wait until the parts cooled down to room temperature.
Never keep the torch in unshielded flame or in an oven, oil burner etc.
Risk of Explosion!
