Alw ays turn off and unplug vacuum
cleaner before performing maintenance

W hen brushes are worn to the level of the
base support bars, replace the brushroll
assembly.

1. Remove PowerM ate
brushroll assembly. See "To Remove Belt"
in BELT CHAN GIN G AN D BRUSHROLL
CLEAN IN G (page 20 ).
2. Install new brushroll assembly.
3. Reinstall belt and PowerM ate
"To replace belt" in BELT CHAN GIN G
AN D BRUSHROLL CLEAN IN G (page 21).
