Connecting LEDs
In order to display the busy status (e.g. in analogue displays), connect
the cathodes (-) of the LEDs (with series resistors, e.g. 1 kΩ) to the
outputs of the GBM-8.

Caution: Never use LEDs without series resistors, as in this case

the LEDs will be destroyed quickly.
Caution: Do not use the driving transformer for the power
!
supply of the LEDs but a separate transformer, for instance one used
to supply other lighting circuits. The arising stray electric currents
could possibly damage connected components.
