MOUNT MAST & MAST HOUSING
NOTE:
From
the
remaining
MOUNT/SEAWALL MOUNT will be referred to as "MOUNT"
1.
Insert the MAST into the MAST HOUSING with the
four holes in the MAST oriented toward the bottom.
NOTE: The Cable Roller should be oriented toward the top
of the MAST.
2.
Stand the MAST and MAST HOUSING upright and
position as close to the BASE MOUNT as possible.
3.
Align the swivel hinges on the housing above the
hinges on the BASE MOUNT and insert 3 Nylon
Washers between the hinges on the BASE MOUNT
and the housing as shown in figure 4.
4.
Slip one (1) flat washer over each of the three (3)
5/8" X 4-1/2" bolts and insert through each of the
three (3) hinges as shown in figure 4.
5.
Slip a 5/8" Lock Washer, 5/8" Washer and 5/8" Hex
Nut onto the protruding end of the bolt and securely
fasten.
6.
Insert the 1/2" X 6-1/2" MAST STOP PIN into the hole
located at the top of the MAST and slip one (1) 1/2"
washer on either side of the pin as shown in figure
3.
7.
Insert one (1) Cotter Pin one each side of the MAST
STOP PIN, making sure to spread the ends of the
COTTER PIN outward, securing the pin and washers
in
place
(THIS
KEEPS
OVERTRAVELING WHEN IN USE).
