Loading New Firmware into The ALD-D48
Most TFTP clients will allow the user to modify several fields. It is critical for a successful file
transfer that the following field values are always used:
Always remember which direction you are transferring a file. When loading new
firmware you are sending/putting a file to the ALD-D48 device server.

Host IP address. This is the IP address of the ALD-D48 device server. If the wrong IP
address is entered the transfer will fail.
Port. This value must always be 69.
Timeout. This value is not critical. 10 seconds is a good number although any value can
be used.
Send timeout to server. Leave this unchecked.
Block Size. This value must always be 512.
Local File. This is the filename of the ALD-D48 firmware to be loaded.
Remote File. This value must always be 3Q.
Binary. The transfer must always be binary.
