String Feedback

The ALD-D48 will provide feedback to the main program via string events. The device will report
all state changes as they occur (asynchronously). No polling is required. String feedback will only
be reported if enabled using the FBMODE command. The table below details all of the feedback
strings the device will send.

Description
Keypad LED state notification (scene state notification).
Each ALD-D48 has one virtual keypad of 102 buttons with
corresponding virtual LEDs. Each button/LED pair represents a
programmable scene. There are 100 user definable scenes (1-100).
Scene 101 is reserved for all on. Scene 102 is reserved for all off.
The buttons toggle the scene and the LEDs represent the state of
the scene. This string gives the current state of a keypad LED
(scene). This command will be sent each time an LED state
changes.
1: This value is always 1 since there is only one keypad.
<button>: 1..102 = keypad button. Since there is a one-to-one
correlation between a programmable scene and a keypad button
this is simply the scene number. Button 1 is scene 1, etc.
<state>: 0 = scene is Off
1 = scene is On
K:L:[1]:6:1
K:L:[1]:54:0
Light/dimmer status notification.
This string is sent whenever the status of a light changes or in
response to a light query command.
1: This value is always 1
<addr>: 1...48 = address of light.
<state>: 0...100 = intensity level of light in percent.
OFFLINE = light is not present in the system
L:[1:6]:100
L:[1:38]:22
L:[1:48]:OFFLINE

<state>: OPEN = programming mode is on.
CLOSE = programming mode is off.
CANCEL= programming mode cancelled.
PROG=OPEN
PROG=CANCEL
Group information.
This string is sent when a program group query command is
received. This string is sent for every light in the group.
<id>: 1..100 = group id queried.
<num>: num lights in the group
1: This value is always 1
<addr>: 1..48 = address of light in group
