Approvals Please carefully read this manual prior to attempting Viessmann boilers, burners and controls are approved for installation. Any warranty is null and void if these sale in North America by CSA International.
National Codes. Viessmann recommends the installation of a disconnect switch to the 120 VAC power supply outside of the boiler room. The installer must provide maximum 15 A overcurrent protection for the 120 VAC power supply (fuse or circuit breaker).
Introductory information Initial start-up The initial start-up and matching of the control unit to local conditions and the structural characteristics of the building must be carried out by your heating contractor. Control unit factory default settings The control unit is preset at the factory for standard Weekday and time (CET) were set up in the factory.
Where to find the controls Summary of controls and indicators You can change all settings for your heating circuit centrally at the control unit. You may also make some adjustments on the remote control unit, if your system is equipped with a Vitotrol 200 remote control (see separate operating instructions).
Start-up/shutdown Control unit start-up 1. Turn power supply ON. Turn on breaker or main disconnect supplying 120 VAC to unit. 2. Push ON/OFF button to turn power ON. After a short time, the supply temperature is displayed. Your control unit and, if installed, your remote control unit are now ready to operate.

To put it simply: the lower the outside temperature, the higher the supply temperature.
