Wire Connection
• CABLE-- The GSF speakers have a captive 1-meter long cable for bare-wire connection via an external installer-provided
weather-proof junction box.
o Polarity -- The red wire is + (positive) and the black wire is – (negative).
o Wire Gauge – The wire gauge is 18 AWG (1 mm
Wire Jacket – The wire jacket is 5 mm (+0/-05.mm) in diameter.
o
Connecting -- Use proper professional wire nuts or other safe connectors that are appropriate for the installation
o
conditions and that are sized properly for wire gauge(s) and number of wires to be connected together in the
connector.
o Routing – When using the ground-stake or L-bracket base, the cable can be routed through the base.
