Issue
The program does not start.
The washing machine door cannot

Finish in is activated.
Check whether Finish in is activated.

Open the door again.

Remove any trapped laundry.

Wait until the temperature has dropped.

Select a suitable program for draining.

Drain pipe or water outlet hose is blocked.
Clean the drain pipe and the water outlet hose.

Ensure that the drain pipe and water outlet hose are not kinked or trapped.

The water outlet hose is connected too high.
Install the water outlet hose at a maximum height of 39 in. (1 meter).
Pump cap is not correctly assembled.
Correctly assemble the pump cover.
Detergent dosage is too high.
Immediate measure: Mix one tablespoon of fabric softener with 0.5 US quarts
(0.5 liters) of water and pour the mixture into the left-hand compartment (not for
outdoor clothing, sportswear or items stuffed with down).
Reduce the amount of detergent for the next washing cycle with the same load.
Unapproved extension installed on the water outlet hose.
Remove any unapproved extensions from the water outlet hose.

The pump cap is not fully screwed in.
Ensure that the pump cap is screwed in all the way into the appliance. The han-
dle on the pump cap must be in a vertical position.
Start Pause has not been pressed.
Press Start Pause.
The filters in the water inlet are blocked.
Clean the filters in the water inflow.
Faucet is turned off.
Turn on the faucet.
The water inlet hose is kinked or jammed.
Ensure that the water inlet hose is not kinked or jammed.
The unbalanced load detection system eliminates an imbalance by repeatedly redis-
tributing the laundry.

Note: When loading, where possible, place large and small items of laundry to-
gether in the drum. Laundry items of different size distribute themselves better dur-
ing the spin cycle.
The program operation is optimized electronically. This may change the program
duration.
