NPWT has been established.
The pump may be heard running
occasionally as it maintains the negative
pressure. This is normal.
Replace the batteries and press
the orange button to restart therapy.

to remove any creases. Ensure that the
tube connectors have been twisted
together securely. Press the orange button

and orange air leak indicator will start to
flash together (indicates pump working
to re-establish NPWT). Depending on
the size of the wound, the pump should

NPWT. If the air leak remains, the orange
'leak' indicator will flash again after
approximately 65 seconds. If the air leak
persists, contact healthcare professional.

A flashing green indicator on the Smith & Nephew PICO 7 means the system is functioning properly. The pump may be heard running occasionally as it maintains negative pressure, which is normal.
