Refer to Section 2 of the Series 1260 VXI Switching Card Manual for an explanation of Module ID Byte. The 1260-38T may be configured for two-wire or four wire switching. The two-wire configuration closes one relay for the selected channel. Four-wire configuration closes two relays for the selected channel.
