− Do not touch the cutting blades with bare hands. Wear suitable protective
gloves.

Water or other liquids that have penetrated the housing may cause a short cir-
cuit.
− Never submerge the product in water or other liquids.
− Make sure that no water or any other liquids get into the housing.

Improper handling of the product can damage the product.
− Do not use any aggressive cleaners, brushes with metal or nylon bristles,
or sharp or metallic cleaning utensils such as knives, hard scrapers and
the like. They could damage the surfaces.

Cleaning

− Use a soft cloth or brush to clean the housing.
− Clean the vents as well.
− Remove all plant cuttings with a hand brush or brush.

Maintenance

− Lubricate the cutting blades of the cutter bar
a biodegradable chainsaw lubricant (see Fig. H). Allow the product to run briefly
so that the oil is evenly distributed.

Inspecting the product

Check the condition of the product regularly. Among other things, check to make sure:
− the pressure switches are not damaged;
− the vents are unobstructed and clean. If necessary, use a soft brush to clean
them;
− the screw connections are tight;
− the cutting blades are sharp.
