WARNING!
Risk of injury!
The product has a cutter bar with cutting blades that move in opposite direc-
tions. Contact with running cutting blades can result in severe cuts or lacera-
tions.
− Keep all body parts away from running cutting blades. Never reach into
the running cutting blades.
− Do not try to remove material stuck between the cutting blades when the
cutting blades are running. Switch off the product, wait until the cutting
blades stop running and remove the battery before removing trapped
cuttings.
− Do not hold on to the material to be cut.
− Every time you interrupt work, place the protective blade cover on the
cutter bar to avoid injury.
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock and injury!
If the cutting blades come into contact with a live wire, this can send current up
exposed metal parts of the power tool and give the operator an electric shock.
− Only hold the product by the insulated handles during work.
− Keep any wires away from the cutting area.
− Check the hedge to be pruned for any concealed wires before you start work.
− If, despite taking all precautions, you hit a wire and a short circuit, and
a bang or spark occurs, do not be alarmed. Do not continue to press the
pressure switches, but do not let go of the product. Wait until the cutting
blades stop running and put the product down.
− Do not repair the damaged wire. Arrange for the damaged wire to be
replaced by qualified personnel.
