Precedent 15 to 25 Tons Cooling
Only and 12.5 to 25 Tons Heat

Inspection

Note: All W/G*J150-300 require FIADAST0008 discharge air
sensor to be installed for proper simultaneous heating
operation.
1. Unpack all components of the kit.
2. Check carefully for shipping damage. If any damage is
found, report it immediately, and file a claim against the
transportation company.
3. Check the heater nameplate model number and compare
with the electrical data tables. Ensure that the available
power supply and unit model number complies with the
particular heater being used.
WARNING
Hazardous Voltage w/Capacitors!
Failure to disconnect power and discharge capacitors
before servicing could result in death or serious injury.
Disconnect all electric power, including remote
disconnects and discharge all motor start/run
capacitors before servicing. Follow proper lockout/
tagout procedures to ensure the power cannot be
inadvertently energized. Verify with a CAT III or IV
voltmeter rated per NFPA 70E that all capacitors have
discharged.

Use Copper Conductors Only!
Failure to use copper conductors could result in
equipment damage as the equipment was not designed
or qualified to accept other types of conductors.
WARNING
Proper Field Wiring and Grounding
Required!
Failure to follow code could result in death or serious
injury.
All field wiring MUST be performed by qualified
personnel. Improperly installed and grounded field
wiring poses FIRE and ELECTROCUTION hazards. To
avoid these hazards, you MUST follow requirements for
field wiring installation and grounding as described in
NEC and your local/state/national electrical codes.

1. To gain access to the electric heat section, remove the four
screws that secure the heat section access panel. See
Figure 7.

2. Remove five screws that secure the bottom
through- the-base electrical (TBUE) panel.
See Figure 8.

3. Remove the bulkhead post by removing screws along the
exterior of the post, at the roof, base, and behind the
access panel near the top of the unit as shown in
below.
