Appendix C Target ID Binding in Windows OS

You can bind the Bind the target Device's SCSI number and SCSI target num, by latter procedures.

Process of Binding Target ID

1> Confirm the WWPN address of this product, tape storage and disk array which will be set binding.
Referring to the user's guide of tape storage and disk array as appropriate.
2> Boot the system and log in it using the Administrator.
3> Open a Command Prompt and move to the OneCommand Manager (CLI) installed directory. The
default installation directory is \Emulex\Util\OCManager under "Program Files".
The target Device's SCSI number or SCSI target mum might swap after
reboot, if not binding Target ID.
Bind the target Device's SCSI number and SCSI target num, if the system
corresponds to the following.
- Tape storage is connected via Fibre Channel switch.
- Multiple disk arrays (no drive letter) are connected via Fibre Channel
switch.
In Windows Server 2008(x86), this product doesn't support Target ID
binding.
OneCommand Manager (CLI) and the driver of this product will be installed
at the same time. If OneCommand Manager (CLI) has not installed, apply
Starter Pack for the computer and the OS.
