Only qualified personnel Only qualified personnel who have been informed about the dangers associated with handling the machine are permitted to operate, service or repair the machine. This knowledge can be gained by agricultural training, technical training or intensive instruction.

  • Page 20 Tedder-rake combination HAYBOB 300 Hydraulics Hydraulic couplings only pressureless Only connect hydraulic hoses to the tractor hydraulic system if the tractor and machine's hydraulic system is pressureless. A pressurized hydraulic system can trigger unforeseen movements at the machine and may cause serious damage or fatal injury.

  • Page 23 Tedder-rake combination HAYBOB 300 Operation First use only after instruction It is not allowed to operate the machine until distribution company employees, company representatives or manufacturer's employees have given instruction. If initial operation is performed without instruction, damage to the machine can be caused by operating errors and accidents can occur.
  • Page 24 Tedder-rake combination HAYBOB 300 Instructions in case of malfunctions In case of a malfunction, stop the machine immediately: • Switch off tractor hydraulics. • Switch off electrical systems. • Turn off tractor engine and. • Remove the ignition key. Perhaps the malfunction can be eliminated immediately, otherwise contact your dealer. Using a faulty machine can cause accidents or damage.

Therefore: • Prevent the tractor and machine from rolling away • Switch off tractor hydraulics. • Switch off electronic systems.

If maintenance, checks and inspections are not complied with, damage to the machine or accidents can occur.

A higher hydraulic oil pressure can damage the machine. Searching for hydraulic oil leaks Never search for leaks by touching hydraulic hoses and hydraulic connections, even when your hands are protected with a protective skin cream or oil-resistant gloves.

The labels may not be removed. Keep all safety decals clean and legible. In case safety decals are damaged, perished or lost, order new decals as spare parts and affix them on the machine.

General instructions for use For a good opertion of the machine the following have to be respected: • To enable the machine to follow ground contours correctly, the hydraulic lift lever should be in float position during work, so that the lift arms can move freely up and down.

  • Page 45 Tedder-rake combination HAYBOB 300 To prevent the crop being moved too far to the side, especially when working around the boundary of the field, the tedding width of the machine can be restricted by the deflectors (5) which can be set laterally, using stays (8).

Adjustment for raking - Lower machine and start a right hand turn. - Then pull cord (4) to disengage lever (2) from bracket pin (3). - Set all tines to raking position (9). - Use the upper holes (10) for wheel adjustment. In long stubbles the use of the lower holes can be advantageous for better pick-up and clean raking.
  • Page 47 Tedder-rake combination HAYBOB 300 When adjusting the top link ensure a safe distance to the tines of the rotating rotors is kept! - Set deflectors as required using stays (8). Always make certain that the distance between the deflectors is large enough, especially in a heavy crop to prevent material from being pulled out of the swath.

    Tedder-rake combination HAYBOB 300 $Maintenance 1. Safety Before leaving the tractor or before adjusting, maintaining or repairing the machine, disengage the PTO drive, turn off the engine, remove ignition key and wait until all moving parts have come to a complete stop and apply park brake.

Be always aware of the safety instructions, warnings and cautions mentioned at the original package of the oil and lubricants. Because an indication according to the danger order is not necessary, therefore pay attention to the instructions below.

Directions Direction specifications (left, right, front, rear) are always meant in relation to direction of travel.

Standard bolts and nuts may look the same, have different qualities properties. Non-genuine parts may change the properties of the machine, and may make the machine unsafe.
