INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE

CHECK THE COOLANT LEVEL

Only proceed when the engine is not running and is at low temperature in order to avoid the risk of burns.
• Remove the pressure cap from the tank.
• Visually check that the fluid level is a few centimeters below the filler hole.
• Top-up the tank, if required, using a mix as indicated in the table on page 28.
Do not over fill the tank.
WARNING
Risk of injury
When the engine is hot, the pressure inside the
cooling circuit can be such that it may expel the
hot liquid in an extremely violent manner with
the risk of burns. Only open the pressure cap of
the coolant tank when the engine is cold.
Failure to comply with these instructions can
result in the risk of serious injury.
General instructions
The failure to observe the aforesaid procedure
does not guarantee the presence of the correct
quantity of coolant in the engine.
Failure to comply completely or partially with these
requirements may result in the risk of serious
damage to the engine and may even, on occasion,
invalidate the warranty.

CHECK THE CONDITION OF THE EXHAUST DUCT(S)
