areas where power quality is
suspect.

1.9 ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS

Electrical wiring to the unit (including grounding) must conform to local electrical
codes and/or National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA No. 70 – latest edition, or The
Canadian Electrical Code, C22.1 - Part 1.
The unit, when installed, must be electrically bonded to ground in accordance
with the requirements of the authority having jurisdiction or, in the absence of
such requirements, with the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70, and/or the
Canadian Electrical Code Part I, CSA C22.1, Electrical Code.

1.9.1 120VAC Line Voltage Hook-up

(Refer to Section 6.2.Wiring Diagram on page 6-4). Connect the unit to the grid
power, using the supplied appliance plug in a separate, fused circuit and on/off
switch within sight of the unit.

1.9.2 Accessing Controller Terminal Strip

Pull out on the two control module retaining tabs then flip down the control to
access the terminal strip.

1.9.3 Power Quality and Electrical Protection

In areas of unreliable power, appropriate surge protectors and/or power
conditioning equipment should be installed to protect the unit.
