The printed circuit board PL 814 or PL814A is intended for installation in a control cabinet
and is snapped on to a support rail on the assembly panel. It is to be protected against
soiling, humidity and mechanical damage.
The supply voltage is 24V DC. It is to be protected against overvoltage.
Connections to the safety device are made at the terminal block C. 230V AC may be
applied at these terminals. The trip current of the back-up fuse may total maximum 2A.

3. Function description

3.1. Safety device PL814 version 1 for general applications

"6.1. Safety device PL814 version 1"
See circuit diagram
The safety device can be used for all applications for which a safety device is required, e.g. in
case of reduced protective space or retardation monitoring circuits for shortened buffer stroke.
It has a two-channel design and essentially comprises of three safety relays -K74, -K75 and -
K76 with positively-driven contacts. The two redundant input signals with a signal voltage of
+24V DC are connected to the input terminals A1 (channel 1) and A6 (channel 2).
