    In tests, the 3000/403 was found to be suitable for powering 802.3af/at terminals without causing damage to the connected equipment, providing up to 30 watts on a single port. The 3000/403 significantly reduces additional electrical wiring costs for powering remote network devices such as: wireless LAN access points, video surveillance cameras, etc.
