Thank you for purchasing the OMRON cuff HEM-RXL31.
Please refer to the instruction manual of your Blood Pressure Monitor.
Description:
This Omron blood pressure cuff consists of an inflatable bladder with sleeve (cuff) that is used with
a blood pressure monitor to determine a patient's blood pressure.
This cuff should only be used with Omron blood pressure monitors that have "HEM-RXL31"
indicated on the side of the air jack. Arm circumference for this cuff is 42 to 50 cm (17" to 20").
Please follow this instruction manual thoroughly for your safety before using the
device. Please keep for future reference. For specific information about your own
blood pressure, CONSULT WITH YOUR PHYSICIAN.
Instructions for use
Remove tight fitting clothing or a tightly rolled up sleeve
from your left upper arm.
Do not place the arm cuff over thick clothing.

1. Connect the air plug to the unit.
Note: Only use this cuff with an OMRON Blood
Pressure Monitor that has "HEM-RXL31"

2. Wrap the arm cuff firmly in place around your left upper arm.

3. Securely fasten the cuff with the fabric fastener.
Notes: 1. Remain still and do not talk during the
measurement.
2. Incorrect use may cause an inaccurate
measurement.
Taking measurements on the right arm
The air tube will be at the side of your elbow. Be
careful not to rest your arm on the air tube.
Note: Blood pressure can differ between the right arm and left arm, and may result
in differences in readings. OMRON recommends to always use the same arm for
measurement. If the readings between both arms differ greatly, please check with your
physician as to which arm to use for your measurement.
Caution:
• Use the same arm cuff as written on the side of the product by the air jack. Do not use any
other type of cuff.
• Do not wash the cuff.
• Do not wrap the cuff on an injured arm or an arm under medical treatment.
• Do not use the cuff if it is damaged.
• Make sure the connections are tight. An air leak will lead to incorrect measurements.
• Ensure that the cuff tube does not become wrapped around the patient's arm or other body part.
• Do not connect this cuff to unspecified products. This may cause an accident.
• If a physician has indicated that the patient has hemorrhagic diathesis or hypercoagulability,
check the condition of the arm after measurement and if any abnormalities are noted, contact
your physician.
• Remain still and do not talk during the measurement.
• If used with even a slight amount of liquid in the cuff, the liquid may enter the monitor to which
the cuff is connected and cause the monitor to malfunction.

• Contains small parts that may cause a choking hazard if swallowed by infants, toddlers, or children.

Maintenance
• Use a soft and dry cloth, or a soft and moistened cloth and neutral soap to clean the arm cuff.
• Do not use gasoline, thinners of similar solvents to clean the arm cuff.
• Do not store the arm cuff in locations exposed to extreme temperatures, humidity, direct
sunlight, dust or corrosive vapors such as bleach.
• Do not bend or crease the air tube excessively.
• Dispose of the cuff and components according to applicable local regulations.Unlawful
disposal may cause environmental pollution.
Limited Warranty
This warranty only applies to users in the U.S.A and Canada. Your HEM-RXL31 cuff is

warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship appearing within 1 year from
the date of purchase, when used in accordance with the instructions provided with this cuff.
The above warranty extends only to the Telehealth service provider. We will, at our option,
2 replace without charge any arm cuff covered by the above warranty. Replacement is our only
responsibility and your only remedy under the above warranty.

WITH THIS PRODUCT, AND OMRON HEREBY DISCLAIMS ANY OTHER WARRANTIES,

FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND OTHER TERMS
THAT MAY BE IMPOSED BY LAW, IF ANY, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE PERIOD
OF THE ABOVE EXPRESS WARRANTY.
SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY
LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INDIRECT COSTS, EXPENSES OR DAMAGES.
