7. Torque the valve nut to 142 to 162 N-m (105 to 120
ft-lb).
8. Apply thread-locking adhesive to the 2 bolts (5/16
inch) and loosely secure the directional valve assembly
to the cover using the 2 bolts, and 2 washers as shown
in Figure 6.
Note: Make sure that port 2 is showing on top of the
valve.

9. Remove the valve fitting cover currently installed on
the bulkhead as shown in Figure 6.
Installing the Hydraulic Hoses
and the Decal
1. Install the long hydraulic tube from the tee fitting to
the furthest 90 degree fitting on the bulkhead assembly
as shown in Figure 7.

2. 90-degree fitting (5/8 inch
male, 3/4 inch female)
2. Install the short hydraulic tube from the 90-degree
fitting on top of the directional valve assembly to the
closest 90-degree fitting on the bulkhead assembly as
shown in Figure 7.
3. Connect the 30-inch hose, previously installed on the
bottom of the directional valve assembly, to the outside

4. Install the 24-inch hose from the inner most 90-degree
fitting to the 90-degree fitting on the tee valve
connected to the directional valve assembly as shown
in Figure 8.
5. Secure the hoses together with the 2 cable ties.
6. Tighten the bolts securing the directional valve
assembly to the cover (Figure 6).
7. Install the decal as shown in Figure 9.
