M
axell Corporation of America prepares
for its own tri-annual ISO 14001
audit at the end
of
November 2007
ThiS audit is conducted at least once
a year by the independent Underwriters
Laboratories Group. A tri- annual audit
is a once every Ihree year affair whereby
the entire ISO 14001 system is reviewed
for a period of two complete days
During this two day period any and
all Maxell Fair Lawn employees and
associales may be questioned aboul Iheir
knowledge
of
Ihe ISO system and all things
related to recycling and the Environmental
Protection Plans the Maxell Corporate
office has committed to during prior
annual audits.
An independent outside review is very
much like a tax audit by the Internal Revenue
Service. Maxell commits a great deal
of
time, e~ort and finances to doing what we
all believe is the "next right thing"
