General
This installation and operating manual is part of the SAFERUN®
pump monitoring system and describes the correct and safe use
of the device in all operating phases.
®
SAFERUN
uses sensors in the containment can to determine the
current operating state of the connected pump. The current
measured values are compared with the set operating
characteristic curve. The operating point of the pump is displayed
via LEDs on the converter and is forwarded to a higher-level
control system via the power interface. Additional measured
values of the system are also transmitted via this interface using
the HART protocol.
In addition, the measured values are collected in a data memory
(HistoryLog) and can be read out for later evaluations via the
radio interface (RFID).
The personnel entrusted with the installation, operation and
maintenance of the device must have carefully read and
understood the operating manual before starting any work.
In addition to this installation and operating manual, the
operating instructions for the pump and the instructions for the
additional components given in the Appendix are authoritative.
If there are references to other documents, the safety
instructions contained therein must also be observed.
The illustrations in this operating manual are intended to provide
a basic understanding and are not necessarily true to scale.
The operating manual is part of the device and must be kept
accessible to staff at all times.
