Close the hood, raise and rotate the footrest folding it against the
backrest (Fig. 16 - 16A), facing the front of the stroller, operate the
folding device located under the seat: press the button while also
rotating the release handle upwards. (Fig. 16B). The stroller will fold
at this point.
To fold completely, carry out the operations above being sure that
the backrest has been lowered into the first reclining position.
To remove the seat before folding the stroller, press the buttons lo-
cated near the seat joints (Fig. 9C).
To reopen the stroller, lift the handle until a click confirms that it has
opened; lower the legrest until a click is heard.
If the seat has been removed, lift the handle until a click confirms
that the stroller has opened and then attach the seat to the frame.

RAIN COVER

17. The stroller is equipped with a rain cover.
To assemble the rain cover place it over the sun canopy fastening
the elastic edge to the top of the hood (Fig. 17) and to the bottom
edge of the legrest. (Fig. 17A).
After use, if wet, let the rain cover dry off before folding and storing
it. The rain cover can be used both forward facing and parent facing.
The rain cover can also be used with the MYSA carrycot.
WARNING: The rain cover cannot be used on the stroller without
the hood being extended, as it may cause suffocation. When the
rain cover is fitted on the stroller, never leave it exposed to direct
sunlight with the child inside, as the temperature will rise consid-
erably.
REMOVAL: REMOVING THE HOOD
18. If the fabric needs to be removed from the hood for cleaning,
follow these steps: open the velcro sections found on the rear of
the backrest (Fig. 18), open the snap buttons on the top of the
backrest (Fig. 18A); pull the fabric slot off of the backrest adjust-
ment lever. Free the elastic bands located under the seat joints
(Fig. 18B). Using a pointed object press on the plastic pins to free
the joints from the lateral inserts (Fig. 18C) and pull the hood
tube upwards to free it (Fig. 18D); at this point the fabric can be
removed from the hood tube (Fig. 18E).
To reassemble the fabric and the hood carry out the operations in
reverse order.
WARNING: The hood must be fixed on both sides of the stroller.
Ensure that the canopy is correctly fastened.

REMOVING THE FABRIC:

19. To easily remove the fabric from the seat, detach the seat from the
frame (paragraph 9) and remove the bumper bar (paragraph 8).
After having removed the hood (paragraph 18) use a cross-tip
screwdriver to unscrew the screws located under the footrest (Fig.
19); open the velcro sections under the seat and unfasten the but-
tons (Fig. 19A), remove the footrests releasing them from the plastic
inserts (Fig. 19B).
WARNING: Do not leave the components unattended after remov-
al, keep them out of reach of children.
WARNING: Store the screws and small components carefully for
reassembly.
Remove the crotch strap from the seat and the safety harnesses
from the fabric by passing them through the appropriate slots (Fig.
19C, 19D); free the fabric from the frame by pulling upwards (Fig.
19E).
Free the footrest fabric from the track on the metal tube (Fig. 19F).
Extract the plastic panel from the pocket located on the rear of the
backrest (Fig. 19G). The fabric is now free and ready to be washed.
To put the fabric back on the product, insert the footrest fabric in
the slot on the metal tube being sure to aim the track (1) upwards.
(Fig. 19H)
To put the fabric back on the seat carry out the operations described
above in reverse order. As part of this operation, the crotch strap will
need to be inserted in the fabric slot on the seat (Fig. 19C, 19D), the
waist belts in the lower part of the backrest (Fig. 6 - n.4) and the
shoulder straps in the top part of the backrest (Fig. 6 - no.1/2/3).
Reposition the Comfort Kit (paragraph 7).
USING THE CAR SEAT AND CARRYCOT
20. The following products can be attached to the CHICCO MYSA
stroller:
• CHICCO KAILY car seat, using specific frame adaptors.
• CHICCO KIROS i-Size Fast In car seat, using specific frame adaptors.
• CHICCO KORY i-Size car seat, using specific frame adaptors.
• MYSA LIGHT carrycot.
For instructions on assembling and disassembling the car seats refer
to the manual for the MYSA adaptors.
For instructions on assembling and disassembling the carrycot refer
to the manual for the MYSA LIGHT carrycot.
WARNING: Before using the stroller with a carrycot or car seat, al-
ways check that the attachment devices are correctly engaged by
pulling up.
WARNING: Both car seats and the carrycot may only be attached to
the chassis in the parent-facing position.

WARRANTY

The product is guaranteed against any lack of conformity under
normal use as specified in the instructions. The warranty does not,
therefore, apply to damage caused by improper use, wear or acci-
dents. For the duration of warranty on conformity defects, please
refer to the specific provisions of national laws applicable in the
country of purchase, where provided.
