LITHIUM-ION BATTERIES
The rechargeable batteries are partially charged. The LED on
the battery indicates the state of charge.
If the battery pack is not used for long periods, the rechargeable
battery switches to a non-operative state.
When fully discharged, the rechargeable battery turns off
automatically (depth discharge is not possible).
Under extreme circumstances, the internal temperature of the
battery pack could become too high. Excessive temperatures
causes the battery pack to shut down. Charge the battery pack
to reset it.
The state of charge can be read by pressing the button on the
battery pack. The battery pack can be left in the power tool
while the reading is taken but it must be turned off at least one
minute beforehand, otherwise, the display will be inaccurate.
The number of LEDs illuminated indicates the state of charge.
A fl ashing LED indicates a maximum power reserve of 10%.
If the power tool fails to work after inserting the battery pack,
recharge the battery pack. The displays on the battery and
charger provide information about the condition of the battery.
In low temperatures, work may continue with reduced
performance.
