Remote Access with the DDNS Service

Setting Up Your DDNS Account

Lorex offers a free DDNS service for use with your System. A DDNS account allows you to set up

a web site address that points back to your Local Network. The following outlines how to set up

your free DNS account.

1. Navigate to

http://www.lorexddns.com/

2. Select the REGISTER option from the list on the left side of the

screen.

3. Complete the NEW USER fields with your personal information:

• USER NAME - Enter the

desired User Name for

connection.

• USER PASSWORD /

CONFIRM PASSWORD -

Enter

and

confirm

password

for

connection.

NOTE: The username and

password provided are NOT

the same as the ADMIN/

PASSWORD on the

Observation System. These

credentials are used for your

specific connection to your

unit.

• EMAIL - Enter your Email

Address.

Press the OK button to save the settings.

A Successful Registration window will appear.
