TOOL REQUIRED:

J 39200 Digital Multimeter or equivalent
The following bench check may be used to simulate operation on a vehicle. Use the
bench check to verify operation of a CS-144 generator that has been repaired.
1. Mount generator in suitable test stand according to test stand manufacturer's
instructions. Test stand must be capable of driving generator at 6,500 RPM.

2. Make connections as shown in Figure above. Be sure carbon pile is turned off.
